Frequently Asked Questions
  • What are the age cutoffs?: May 1st in any year shall be the deciding date. Please visit https://www.baberuthleague.org/league-resources/baseball-age-chart.aspx for more details.
  • When does the season start?: Opening day is TBD. The opening parade is April 26th. The season runs into early June, and ends before school lets out. We play every weekend.
  • What's the T-ball Program?: T-Ball starts April 27 and runs for 6 weeks (the weeks may not be consecutive). Register for the time slot that you want. T-Ball is instructional with skill stations.
  • When do the Mites play?: Mites typically play every Saturday & Sunday, with mid-week skill instruction. Days of the week and times will vary. Games/skill sessions are approximately 1.5 hours long.
  • What about the Pee Wee schedule?: Pee Wee teams play every Saturday and Sunday during the season, with some weeknight games or practices.
  • Did my player make the majors?: Two Majors tryout have been held. A third is TBD. The Majors/Minors draft will be held in March.
  • What equipment do we need?: A glove, cleats, a helmet and a bat. Please see the new USA bat regulations.
  • When are teams announced?: Teams will be formed by late March or early April and you will be contacted by the coach of your child's team.
