FUNDRAISING
Milton
American Baseball (MAB) relies heavily on the fundraising efforts of our many
volunteers. All funds are used to enhance the experience of our players. The funds
are used to maintain, improve, and renovate our fields in addition to sending
multiple teams to Cooperstown NY to participate in a week long baseball
tournament/experience. MAB is also responsible for all expenses associated with
our field located at Cunningham Park and for building, improving, and
maintaining our batting cages. MAB works in conjunction with the town to make
improvements to our fields when the town budget is strained. The generosity of
our members, including young, old, new, and long standing helps us fulfill
these duties.
The MAB fundraising
model puts the fundraising efforts into the hands of our 12-year-old
player's families. Our graduating players are helping to build a better
MAB for all the players behind them. Year
after year our fundraising model leads to some lucky donors winning
squares,
trips, raffles, cash, and much more.
