Milton American Baseball is affiliated with the national Cal Ripken baseball program.

Spring seasons are governed by Cal Ripken rules, and teams are eligible to compete through the summer on their way to the Cal Ripken World Series.

Cal Ripken age determination does not follow the Milton school year cutoffs, but are aligned with the start of the baseball season. This means that in each year players born in May through August are considered "younger" by Cal Ripken than they are by the schools. For example, a 4th grader who was born in May will need to compete as a 9-year-old.

Milton American has organized both spring and summer teams around this age classification. We encourage all parents to register their children for the appropriate age bracket, and build a family of baseball friends over their 9-year relationship with Milton American.
