2026 Summer Travel - Summer 2026

Summer Registration Closes April 26th!

MAB offers summer travel baseball for players 8-12yo in accordance w/ Cal Ripken guidelines (see birth chart).

Ages 9-12

We offer 2 levels of summer baseball: Teams compete in either the Suburban Youth Baseball League (SYBL) or a 50/70 league (option for 11 & 12yos).

• "A" team competes in Cal Ripken Districts (10-12yo) with multiple summer tournaments  
• "B" team(s) competes in fewer tournaments and does not play in districts
• In instances where there is enough interest for 3 teams, MAB reserves the option to have 3 tiered teams
• In instances where numbers exceed roster limits (as imposed by leagues & tournaments), MAB may institute a 'taxying' program or an 'alternate' program where several players are included as alternates

Players making a commitment to play are expected to be available throughout the season (incl. weekends), most notably those committing to "A" baseball.

Age 8

MAB plays in the Friendship Summer League for 8yos. This is a GREAT intro to summer travel baseball! Games are weeknights against neighboring communities and the season concludes with playoffs (typically end of July, potentially first days of August if team advances.)

Registration

Registration opens April 10th and closes April 26th. There is no late registration period because of required time lead for uniform orders.

To be eligible for an 'A' team, players must declare that intention and attend a tryout (dates & times TBD).

If you wish to try out for an 'A' team, please register and add the 'A' to your enrollment at checkout.

Because of lead time for uniforms, please indicate your jersey number preferences. Since rosters have not yet been determined, we will do our best to accommodate jersey number preference; however, duplicates cannot be accommodated.
